CANAL AND COMPANY
Normally Canal and Co does not offer interline discounts until with in a 60 day window. However, last year they were very successful in offering a higher price interline package on "selected departures" outside of the 60 day criteria. Here is your chance to book in advance positive space now. The selected cruise prices are shown in RED.
The cruises will begin in Holland in March for the tulip season. In late May the Charlemagne will move on the Rhine to Koblenz, Germany, from where it will do the beautiful meandering Mosel River through Germany to Luxemberg, then on into France to Metz. The second German Cruise will set out from Koblenz on the Rhine to the Neckar River, through beautiful Heidelberg and on to Bad Wimpfen.
The Charlemagne is their newest vessel in its fleet of five European canal and river cruisers. The others are located in France. All offer an intimate ambiance (boats hold from 20-50 persons), gourmet meals with wine included, daily shore excursions with guides and admissions included. The company is proud of the fact that it operates its boats with some of the same staff who began hotel barge cruises in Europe 38 years ago.
Anacoluthe and Charlemagne include free coach transfers direct to the boat from the inbound city. For Anacoluthe that is Paris. For Charlemagne that is Amsterdam for the Tulip season and Frankfurt Germany for the Mosel and Neckar cruises. Transfers from Paris to the barge side meeting point is extra for the Litote, Lorraine and Libellule. Transfer includes pick up at Hotel Regina for coach transfer to the train station, 1st class train to meetin gpoint, coach transfer to boar. Pris transfers for Litote are $200 per person. Paris transfers for Lorraine and Libellule are $250.
